International Ski Technical Skill Test

This is the technical skill test established by the International Ski Instructors Association. As this name suggests, your skills will be evaluated based on international standards. There are 6 levels we could provide for you, each level has specific skill and terrain requirements. The evaluation will be based on several criteria.

Gold/Semi-Gold

In this level, you have to do Parallel stance in both Short and Long turn. Also, a free skiing of parallel short and long turn. You will be assessed by below conditions.

Total Test and Certification fee: ¥4,500/time

(As you failed, it will cost only test fee ¥2,000/time)

Number of runs: one run each.
Slope Conditions:

Width: more than 30m

Length: 150~200m

Slope angle: steep 20 to 30 degrees

Snow condition: fresh snow, crud or bumps

Passing Score (Full Marks 100):

Gold: 70 and over

Semi-Gold: 60 and over

Silver/Semi-Silver

In this level, you have to do stem turn, parallel long turn. Class Silver will test you parallel short turn and Class Semi-Silver will be basic one. You will be assessed by below conditions.

Total Test and Certification fee: ¥4,000/time

(As you failed, it will cost only test fee ¥2,000/time)

Number of runs: one run each.
Slope Conditions:

Width: more than 30m

Length: 100m and more

Slope angle: intermediate 10 to 20 degrees

Snow condition: ungroomed

Passing Score (Full Marks 100):

Silver: 70 and over

Semi-Silver: 60 and over

Bronze/Semi-Bronze

In this level, Class Bronze need to do stem or basic parallel turn, Class Semi-Bronze need to do wedge turn. You will be assessed by below conditions.
